CLARIFIED ISAs FOR PROVIDERS OF AUDIT
SOFTWARE, TRAINING & METHODOLOGIES
Wednesday, 11 November 2009
Deloitte, 2 New Street Square,
London EC4A 3BZ
10.15am to 5pm
The wholesale changes brought about by clarified ISAs - implemented in the UK for 2010 audits - are a major issue for anyone responsible for or involved in writing audit software, material for training and audit manuals, systems, and methodologies.
This free one day event, chaired by Martyn Jones, will cover the ‘why’ of key revisions and clarifications, in particular:
- the background to the clarity project and the IAASB’s objectives;
- the audit inspection process (including a proportionate approach for SMEs);
- details of the substantially revised ISAs
The day will include viewings of the new IAASB DVDs which deal with the revised clarified ISAs. Each DVD viewing will be followed by a panel session providing further insights into the key changes and expectations of auditors.
Given the current economic climate, this is a good opportunity to improve the quality of UK audit.
This event is open to anyone responsible for or involved in writing audit software, manuals and systems and audit training.
Places are limited, therefore please apply early
Benefits of attending
Delegates attending this event will have the opportunity to question those involved with and responsible for the clarity project to:
- learn about the ‘why’ of clarification, which will make implementation of clarified ISAs easier
- assess the nature and extent of the changes in order to plan the implementation
- be able to ensure that the changes to methodologies, software and training for which they are responsible are achieved to a high standard, on a timely basis, and with a minimum of disruption and cost.
